Active - Currently licensed or qualified.

Inactive - Not licensed nor qualified.

Revoked - Loss of licensing privileges. No longer able to transact business of insurance in SC. The license has been voided or annulled entirely. Individuals who have had their license revoked may not reapply to be licensed for at least two years.

Suspended - Unable to transact business of insurance in SC for a temporary period of time, usually less than 2 years. The license or licenses of an individual has not been voided or annulled and will again be active at the end of the suspension period, provided all necessary requirements have been met

Probation - Allowing a licensed person the Director has found to have violated South Carolina, any United States territory , or any other state'sy.
